CBIA is South Africa's oldest company regarding competitive intelligence services, outsourcing, consulting and training. We have a reputation for quality, integrity and trust.

CBIA was founded during 1994 by like minded professionals with diverse inter-disciplinary competencies to provide business solutions and services.

CBIA is at the forefront of the development of competitive intelligence in South Africa and was instrumental in the formation of the South African Association of Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SAACIP) early in 2000.

During its fourteen year history CBIA recorded a number of first's regarding CI and competitive insight in South Africa and Africa.

CBIA's staff received a number of awards from the South African Association of Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SAACIP) for their services to SAACIP and for promoting competitive intelligence in Southern Africa and elsewhere.

CBIA is known throughout the international business intelligence community.

During November 2003 CBIA became the first SCIP Partner Programme member in South Africa and the event was celebrated with a promotional function at the Michelangelo Hotel in Sandton, Johannesburg.

CBIA also sponsored and hosted a number of international training events, executive briefings and seminars in South Africa with a number of leading authors, speakers and academics. (See Photo Gallery below)

CBIA specialises in various industries with local and international partners, offering unique, confidential and highly skilled services encompassing a wide spectrum of business and intelligence principles.

CBIA is centrally located in Centurion, Gauteng, about 15 kilometers south of the capital city Pretoria and 40 kilometers north of the Johannesburg/Sandton business area.
