Over the years, CBIA has played the leading role in establishing the Competitive Intelligence profession in southern Africa. The company was founded in 1994 by like-minded professionals with backgrounds ranging from the South African intelligence community to major corporations. The CBIA management team possess a diverse interdisciplinary set of competencies.
CBIA is well known throughout the international business intelligence community. In November 2003 we became the first South African member of the Partner Programme of the US-based Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP).
Each year, CBIA also hosts and sponsors a number of training events, executive briefings, and seminars in South Africa involving leading international authors, speakers and academics.
CBIA is centrally located in Centurion, about 15 kilometres south of Pretoria and 40 kilometres north of the Johannesburg/Sandton business district.
